Cabernet Franc

Red wine grape used primarily as a blending grape. It is popular in France, where it is blended with Cabernet Sauvignon. Chateau Cheval Blanc, considered by many to be the finest wine from the Saint-Emilion region of France, is 66% Cabernet Franc and 34% Merlot.
